I messed around in the shop today. I had the best of intentions. I was going to make some floating shelves for the bathroom.

I find that I don’t have the best equipment to do the job and so tomorrow I’ll be purchasing a small table saw. I’m a bit excited. It’s a new tool. I hate to part with the money, but…it’s a new tool. And Her Highness has given full approval for said purchase.

It’s not a ton of money. I still hate to part with it.

So today, I made a small pile of sawdust. And that’s okay.

I broke my own rule, and I should’ve had the right tool for the job.
