I’m watching again tomorrow. Wondering if it’s time.

There’s a lot that we the people put up with that we shouldn’t have to.

The Declaration of Independence was put forth due to a lot of the same things happening when it was written that are happening in many states now.

A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

It’s funny but a lot of people would see that prince as Trump. I don’t. I’ve watched the man do more good than anyone expected.

I’m not calling for open revolution and this isn’t a political page. But there’s something deeply wrong with our system that must be corrected.

This is just me writing it down.

Getting it off my chest.

Taking a break…

Taking a break from the political for a bit.

I’m tired.

I’m mostly tired of people just taking every single little conspiracy theory they come across, or the next shocking picture or article and just running with it.

I’m tired of morons with access to the internet believing every little thing they hear.

I’m tired of people who are pinning all their hopes and dreams on one or two people (that the different sides of government picked) and going straight up fanatical about them.

POTUS isn’t the second coming. I know that. He knows that. I just wish his fans would get it.

Biden is just a tired, old man. This isn’t an insult, I’m a tired old man, too. No, he’s being used and handled. And the people who are doing it should be brought up on charges for elder abuse.

That’s it. That’s the post.

The whole world is mad…

An old Facebook memory that made me think again...

I’m on the road a lot every day for work. The other day coming home, a car driving by me either kicked something up or something flew off the car, the result for me was a busted driver side mirror.

We live in a wonderful time. I pulled over to check and make sure there was no other damage. Then I whipped out my iPhone (always connected to the internet and the rest of you) jumped over to Amazon where my truck is already saved in my garage and ordered a new mirror.

Two days and five minutes later all is good. Used to be we would have had to hitch up the mules and drive two days into town and order the part, ride the mules back home, wait two weeks to go back to town again and get the part then trade one of the mules for it.

Life is so easy, why is everybody in the world so mad all the time?

At The Dentist

This is new and exciting.

My bridge broke Friday night while eating supper. There was nowhere to go until Monday at 3:00. So I’ve been waiting all weekend.

Currently I’m waiting outside a dentist’s office in Camden, SC because of the #COVIDS.

I will be so very happy when all this is over and things return to regular every day things.

Don’t tell me this is the new normal. As an American I not only can’t accept that, I WON’T.

We as people are not built this way. No matter how much a lot of us say we hate people we are, at heart, social animals.

We cannot and will not continue to live like prisoners in our own country. Things will change, and if the don’t we will make them change.

These are the facts as we know them.

Man, Sunday flies by fast! Got up this morning had a couple cups of coffee, got ready to go to church, came home and ate lunch. Went out to do a little shopping, and the sun is already sinking low in the sky.

I love my weekends. But I can’t stand Sunday coming to an end because that means Monday is going to start. I don’t dread going back to work, but I don’t love it either.

The whole list starts over again, and there’s going to be extra added into it as we go. And we’ll probably end up with a surprise activity or two. But that’s the way it goes, isn’t it?

This next month is never ending stress it seems. There’s the Christmas shopping to do, a letterman jacket to pay for, a band trip to Disney World to put even more money into. I’m going to pull this off, it’s just stressful. It’s stressful on the wife as well, but she holds up fine. Much stronger than me and in control of her emotions.

Me? This is my stress relief right here. This keeps me calm for the most part. I’m not saying I still don’t stress out or get angry over something stupid, I ain’t perfect.

No one ever told me that having children would be as stressful as it is. Yes, children are a joy and a blessing, but they can be some of the worst times you’ll ever have in your life. I guess that’s why God gives us those really, really proud moments, the winning moments where nothing can touch you and everything is as bright shiny as it can possibly be. And I live for those moments.

This is just a rant out here on the road by myself.

This too shall pass.

Winding this up well after sundown. Sitting here waiting on a little Chinese takeout and trying to decide how to run my week.

There’s a plan in everything and that goes for life and the work week.

Guilty Until Proven Innocent

imageYeah, That’s what we’ve come to. You have to prove your innocence now. The burden is no longer on the government to prove your guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt, that’s how it used to be. If you are even hinted at being involved in a crime now you’ll be tried, sentenced and executed by the court of public opinion long before you see your day in court. There won’t be an impartial jury thanks to social media, you’re already guilty. So why even have a trial when we can just consult a handy FB/Twitter poll and save the taxpayer a little money.

Selfie saves Texas man from serving up to 99 years in prison

This little rant was brought to you by this news story. The part that really grabbed me was this:

“We are always willing to listen and examine new information, and that’s exactly what we did in this case,” Bell County District Attorney Henry Garza said.

Wow, how ow about evidence that the guy actually committed the crime without him having to prove his innocence which is the part I don’t get about this. Innocent until proven guilty has turned into guilty until proven innocent.

Good luck in the future to this guy and I hope he gets in to the military.

Thank God for selfies, huh?

Welcome to Newmerica.

img_0670I’m tired of dealing with people who won’t do the job.

You know, the ones who figure someone else will pick up the slack.

I’m not here working for you, I’m not even here working for my company or yours.

I work for my family and that’s all that keeps me going.

You that won’t shoulder your fair share of the load are a non-event in my daily routine.

I’m done, basically.

It sickens me that there are people in my generation who won’t get the job done. You interviewed for the job, took it, and agreed to the pay, the work is what it is. There are no surprises to be had, there was no line of people trying to beat you to the job.

You signed up.

I’m not surprised when people younger than me don’t possess the drive to do what it takes, my generation failed some of them. Most of them fail themselves and will unfortunately continue to do so until life slaps them in the face, teaches them a lesson.

There are other things to consider, though. If you won’t do the job I know two are coming behind you that know the meaning of hard work and getting the job done.

I’m raising them.

And they are not alone.

I guess this was a little bit of a rant, but it was in my head and needed to get out.
