Hot But No Fever

I’m a little hot right now and I usually won’t touch politics on this blog, but never say never.

S.C. Governor Henry McMaster dropped the mask mandate for our schools but you have to opt out with this form.

The wording is sort of disturbing to me.

The wording in the second page as to what you agree to and β€œscientific evidence and research studies” is pure bull. There shouldn’t be any form required that needs to be signed to allow you to breathe free.

I can’t sign this in good conscience.

My child is not a political tool.

How can you opt out of something you were forced into in the first place?

Where’s the opt out form for paying county taxes?

You people barely take responsibility for actually teaching my child anything useful or important. You’d rather erase history and teach them that their truth is more important than actual history and facts.

I think I’m going to hold off on this. I’m going to see what the backlash is after a few days.

Just to be clear, I know there is a virus. Yes, it has affected people. Yes, a lot of people have died from it. Yes, the science and actual death toll from this is questionable.

A lot of this is fear and control. And the time for living like this is over.

That’s it. That’s the post.

Knights To Nomads: HOMECOMING 2020

Featuring the NCHS Silver Knights.

We were back at The Castle Friday night for Homecoming. North Central Knights against the Great Falls Red Devils (who were exorcised 54-8). The Knights football team are having a fantastic season and congrats to them.

Me and Sam (he’s my assistant photographer/second shooter) could see the stadium lit up almost a mile away. We hadn’t been there yet for a game and were both very impressed with the upgrades to the rebuilt stadium. North Central has moved up in the world a bit. Well deserved if I do say so myself.

We’re proud of all of our kids after what they’ve been through this year. They’ve shown what they’re really made of. A lot of hardship and some extremely hard personal tragedies. And they’re still here. Fighting like always.

But…

I’m with the band.

I’m glad to be there. I’ve watched them develop over the last couple of years. They are literally award winning. And I love hearing them play.

So, without further ado (and because I’m running out of words) ladies and gentleman. The North Central Silver Knights.
