I packed “the real camera” up last night and took it with me today. I have a DSLR and various lenses. I don’t have as much time to go out and play with it as I used to.
The pic above is a little bridge that used to be over a little creek. Hurricane Michael shook things up a bit, and now that little area is a small pond. It’s off the road but with a long lens and a quick stop, and I got it without too much trouble.
They say the best camera you have is the one you have with you, and that’s true.
The pic above was taken with my iPhone. Just a quick one-off. Lucky. I couldn’t have done that shot with my DSLR. Not in that moment.
I probably took twenty shots of the turtles. I took five to ten shots of the bridge.
The one of the cat, Geisel, was one shot.
Yep. The best camera you have is the one you have with you. Sometimes, most of the time, it isn’t about equipment. It’s just you capturing a moment. There are so many of us out here catching things no one else will see except for our pics.
That’s it. That’s the post.
