I’m watching again tomorrow. Wondering if it’s time.
There’s a lot that
we the people put up with that we shouldn’t have to.
The Declaration of Independence was put forth due to a lot of the same things happening when it was written that are happening in many states now.
A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
It’s funny but a lot of people would see that prince as Trump. I don’t. I’ve watched the man do more good than anyone expected.
I’m not calling for open revolution and this isn’t a political page. But there’s something deeply wrong with our system that
must be corrected.
This is just me writing it down.
Getting it off my chest.
Not a lot to see today. Kind of a “nothing to see move along folks” thing.
I’m still going to go every week. Who knows? I might find a surprise or two.
iMovie had a nice update so I took advantage of that to try some new things.
I went out today knowing there wouldn’t be much to see. All that’s left is the newer gym and auditorium.
Also, the trees from the old library courtyard. I wonder what’s going to be done with that area?
I can’t wait to see this come up from nothing but dirt.
A brand new Castle.
This weeks video is short. We are coming to the end of the old structure and it has taken a little over ten weeks for the demolition. I wonder if we will see a new building by the end of summer 2021?
It would be great for the students to return to The Castle at the beginning of a new school year.
Either way, when they do start the new building I’m going to be their filming it go up.
That’s it. That’s the post.
These videos are getting shorter. There isn’t a lot left to show. Soon the old gym will be torn down and the original North Central High School, The Castle, will be gone.
But it will be back…
Everybody has a hobby and I love drones and taking pics. Drones give a different perspective than you can get from the ground, obviously.
I love being able to get over a fence (without breaking any laws) and being able to see inside places I normally wouldn’t.
If you’re just catching up with me on these posts, our high school was hit by a tornado back in late January. It has been almost eight months.
This is us coming back.
I would say enjoy but this is more for information and letting the locals see what’s being done. Enjoy doesn’t seem to be the right word.
Some folks need this. I hope that here give people a little peace or closure. I know this affected a lot of people, both present and past students were hurt by this.
An old Facebook memory that made me think again...
I’m on the road a lot every day for work. The other day coming home, a car driving by me either kicked something up or something flew off the car, the result for me was a busted driver side mirror.
We live in a wonderful time. I pulled over to check and make sure there was no other damage. Then I whipped out my iPhone (always connected to the internet and the rest of you) jumped over to Amazon where my truck is already saved in my garage and ordered a new mirror.
Two days and five minutes later all is good. Used to be we would have had to hitch up the mules and drive two days into town and order the part, ride the mules back home, wait two weeks to go back to town again and get the part then trade one of the mules for it.
Life is so easy, why is everybody in the world so mad all the time?
I’m not ashamed to say I’m a Christian. I pray every day. I read my bible. I go to church.
I’m scared of few things. But one thing I am scared of is big storms. Lightning terrifies me.
I always say a prayer and ask the Lord to watch over my house and family during storms.
Last night He did just that.
Graveyard wall. Buffalo Baptist Church, Kershaw, SC.
The graveyard wall at my old church here in the neighborhood took a hit. It got busted up pretty bad. There’s more damage than is shown in the picture but that’s not what this is about.
Prayers are answered all the time. It might not be what you want, but it’s always exactly what you need.
