7P: Day Out Pt. 1
I’ve been working since Sunday. Today I had to drive to Rock Hill, SC (an hour and some change away) to pick up some packages for a couple of activities that needed completing this week.
Someone at home office didn’t plan well enough.
I’m one man with four stores. These four stores are spread over a reasonably wide area. One is only thirty minutes from home. The other three are an hour plus driving time from me. The FedEx location I was picking up the packages from is forty-five minutes in the opposite direction on the other side of the store closest to me.
Add to this that our work schedules were packed out entirely this week.
You see my problem?
Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
At least a nearly fifty-six-hour work week is over.
I’m not complaining. It’s good money. We need support in the field and proper planning, though.
That’s it. That’s the post.
