As a man, especially a married man, you really have to sit and suffer in silence much of the time.
Our duty, responsibility, and honor is to shoulder so much more than we ever let on is bothering us.
And people wonder why we suddenly go off or don’t walk around grinning like idiots all the time.
It’s the constant weight of what we carry.
Not all men. Some don’t carry their share.
But a lot of us carry more than our fair share.
And we carry it without being asked.
So go easy on that fella that’s home every night and just there. He’s there because not only is it his duty, he wants to be there.
