I’m just going to leave this here.

Things like the governor’s race in Virginia and the outcome yesterday give me hope.

Hope that people are finally using their common sense again. I’m hoping that they see too many hard pushes on so many things from people in government as a bad thing.

We’ve been pushed to the edge for way too long and I was afraid we were getting to the tipping point.

It feels like we’ve pulled back from the edge, just a bit.

This isn’t a political post. I sit, watch, and listen. I make my decisions on what I learn. I vote for what seems best for my family and me.

My way of thinking us there are always going to be sides. You can’t get away from it.

If the right candidate comes along that I agree with and shows common sense, maybe I’ll vote for him or her.

The last decade or so has certainly pushed me to the center of things.

I say center because there’s more than the two sides. Dem, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, etc. Probably a lot I don’t know about or want to.

I just want to live and I want the government to do what’s right by the constitution. That’s why we have it.

I just want to be as free as possible.

I know there’s no such thing as total freedom. There’s a cost to living in America. But we owe each other to be a decent society. To be decent people.

We all have to live together. And possibly due together. People used to understand that.

That’s it. That’s the post.
