Lazy Sunday
It’s Fatherβs Day and that’s about it.
We roofed the house this year, bought a new stove, and replaced our HVAC, so for Motherβs Day and Fatherβs Day, we both figured we had received quite enough.
Blessings abound. Do you know what I mean?
It’s OK to have wants, but when you have what you need, you’re doing alright.
Mom and Dad were gone off after church so I left him his gift in the door at their house, and he called me later this afternoon.
It’s one of the few times of the year that he says he loves me because men don’t much. But it always makes me smile.
Meanwhile, I’ve been up since 4:00 AM. A heavy thunderstorm came rolling through this morning and I couldn’t get back to sleep. It startled me awake. And then adrenaline and all that I suppose kept me up. I’ve been groggy most of the day.
But I had a good nap this afternoon. Here’s hoping I sleep tonight.
Back at it in the morning.

That’s it. That’s the post.
