Easter and Podcast Sunday
It has been a minute since we’ve had the time to sit down and record but we’re back on the…air?
I sat down with Sam and we talked about the Road To Nowhere and some of our adventures in the mountains of NC today.
It’s short as far as podcasts though and we’re still getting out legs under us in this. Just a father and son having a good time.
Today was Easter and we did our church service as a tailgate affair.
And then off to Mamaw and Papaws for lunch and the Easter egg hunting. The oldest is feeling a little too old for this but still goes for the candy. Sugar will make you forget yourself, I guess.
The boy is eleven so an Easter Egg hunt is cool by him. Besides, he’s Mamaw’s boy.
All in all a good day.
Finally getting around to Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
We started it last night and let me tell you, four hours is a long time.
But I understand. This is actually telling a story and it’s pretty great. This will move to the top of my list quickly. (I’m not done yet.)
The only offerings I’ve truly enjoyed from DC live action are (in order of appreciation):
1. Batman Begins
2. Shazam (Truly enjoyed.)
3. The Dark Knight Rises (for finishing the story)
4. Christopher Reeve Superman movies.
5. The Dark Knight
The DCAU still kicks Marvel’s butt in superior animated quality. Period.
That’s it. That’s the post.
