Not My Job
I’m seeing a lot of that mentality lately. That whole “it’s not my job” mentality.

Frankly, I’m extremely tired of it. If I only did what was defined in my job lots of smaller things wouldn’t get done. Things that in my work setting are all part of the larger whole. (I don’t even know if that makes sense. It does to me.)
If someone leaves something not done at all or not done particularly well, do you take that extra five or ten seconds so that your work alongside it looks decent? I can’t stand to see work done half-assed.
Here’s some wisdom:
Parks and Recreation is probably one of my favorite shows I may have never watched due to hype. I’m glad I did.
Maybe I’m just not the right person for the kind of setting I’m in.
What you do affects others.
