Not for nothin’.
It has been a rough year basically for everyone. Around here I see people working again and providing for their families, but it’s still a struggle. Folks are hopeful, things have gotten better, hope means something. Not a lot sometimes, but it’s something to hold onto.
People need that. If you take away hope then if they already have next to nothing then they’re sitting there with, well, next to nothing. We all need hope.
I’m not one for resolutions for the new year. No, I rarely see someone keep a resolution, not that they don’t have the best intentions. They must forget or slip up and don’t continue.
Here’s where I’m at. I’m going to show up for work, church, be there for my family, do my best to be a kind person.
I am going to try to write more often, pick up my camera and focus it instead of focusing on work so much. I want to create more that’s going to stand longer than a project at work.
That’s it. Happy New Year. I’ll see ya tomorrow.
Here comes 2019.
